Background[]
Miley gained inspiration for ‘'Thinkin’, as she dreamt about this song, and thought it was a hit. When she woke up, she thought someone else had recorded it, but realised that there was no similar song in existence.
Thinkin' lyrically expresses that their partner has been acting very suspicious during their relationship, and frankly she has been thinking the worst possible scenario, that her lover is cheating on her. Frankly, she cannot get the thought of her partner and what he is doing out of her head.
